Si les deux premières places semblent jouées à la régulière avec Nikolay Gryazin suivi de Yoann Bonato, la troisième place est toujours indécise entre les Skoda de José-Antonio Suarez et de Andrea Mabellini. Les deux hommes ont toutefois deux objectifs différents : le championnat d’Espagne pour le premier, et le championnat ERC pour le deuxième.
Jouant une place dans le top 10, Simone Tempestini est parti à la faute dans ce chrono, permettant à Stéphane Lefebvre de gagner une place.

| M.Johansson | Nous n’avions pas les bons pneus ce matin. C’est comme ça, nous sommes ici pour apprendre. Nous partirons probablement avec des durs dans l’après-midi et verrons comment ça se passe. |
| S.Lefebvre | Depuis le début du rallye, nous avons essayé de retrouver la confiance dans la voiture. Maintenant, le rallye touche à sa fin, donc nous ne pouvons pas être pleinement satisfaits. |
| J.Verstappen | Un peu mieux, plus fluide. Je m’habitue un peu plus, mais c’est aussi la spéciale qui me convient le mieux. Les pneus étaient un peu trop tendres, surtout dans la longue.” |
| M.Marczyk | Ce n’est pas grave, mais nous avons quand même perdu environ 5 secondes dans les virages rapides. Dans les endroits rapides et aveugles où il faut être en confiance, nous avons du mal. |
| M.Ostberg | Je pense que nous avons trouvé le problème, qui est tellement idiot. Parfois, il faut parler correctement avec les ingénieurs, poser un million de questions stupides et faire ses propres calculs et parfois on peut trouver le problème. C’était quelque chose de vraiment stupide. |
| A.Mabellini | Bien sûr, commencer la saison avec un podium serait génial. Cette spéciale n’était pas parfaite, je pense que dans la section rapide du milieu, nous pouvons nous améliorer.” |
| Y.Bonato | Nous pouvons nous détendre un peu, mais il reste encore trois spéciales. Nous devons rester concentrés et continuer comme ça. |
| JA.Suarez | Je pense à beaucoup de choses dans ma tête. Nous pensons bien sûr au championnat espagnol. Nous roulons bien, aucun risque, normal. Et je suis content que nous n’ayons pas crevé. |
| N.Gryazin | Assez calme, j’essaie juste de travailler sur mon style de pilotage. Jusqu’ici tout va bien. Nous avons adapté mon pilotage, cela fonctionne plutôt bien. Il reste juste à gérer la deuxième boucle sans risque et sans crevaison. |
