Dans ce deuxième passage dans cette spéciale, Hirvonen éprouve quelques difficultés et perd 4s5 sur Ostberg. Le jeune norvégien revient même à 9s2 d’Hirvonen au général.
P.Solberg réalise une très mauvaise spéciale et perd 25s sur le meilleur temps provisoire. Le norvégien perd 2 places d’un coup et la bataille pour la 3e place va être fabuleuse puisque Ogier possède 1s2 d’avance sur Latvala et 5s1 de marge sur P.Solberg.
